Peak – At the top of Hudson Yards
It is not easy to find a restaurant with a wonderful view and excellent food. Located on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards, Peak nailed it in every category, with great service, delicious cocktails, excellent food, and the view… ohhhh the view is breathtaking.

The experience at this restaurant starts as soon as you check in, on the fifth floor of The Shops at Hudson Yards, where you wait in the bar/lounge until you are called to go up to the 101st floor, in an elevator that is a show a part. As soon as the doors open, you are faced with a large space, where the restaurant is located on one side and private events are held on the opposite side.

The restaurant was designed by the Rockwell Group, who of course rocked it once again creating a spacious and comfortable bar, overlooking the Hudson River, NY downtown and New Jersey, along with a beautiful, modern dining room, where the view will be the same if seated in the first part of the restaurant, and the view of Midtown, including the Empire State right in front of you, if you are seated in the back part.

Once you're seated and settled, that's where the best part comes in, the menu!
Starting with drinks, an extensive wine list with a selection of more than 1000 bottles, from the most famous wine regions in the world, including champagnes. Local beers and a full cocktail menu are also part of the options. My favorite cocktail is the “Bees Knees”, made with gin, pomegranate, beetroot, lemon and honey… it sounds weird right? But it's amazing!

Moving on to the food, everything is prepared with the best seasonal ingredients from the land, sea and garden, selected one by one by the chefs. The dishes are amazing, with a beautiful presentation and delicious. “Yellowfin Tuna” is an explosion of texture and flavor.

try “The Egg”. A white chocolate egg stuffed with almond and pineapple cream, surreal.

Don't forget that reservations are required and they don't guarantee a table by the window. So make sure you make your lunch or dinner reservations as early as possible, the first reservations get the best tables.
